Our Recruitment Procedure

The main characteristics we look for in the candidates in our recruitment procedures are the desire to succeed, aptitude for teamwork, and customer orientation. In addition to these features, we have varying criteria for foreign language proficiency, experience period, and educational background according to the positions.

We recruit personnel objectively and systematically, aiming to ensure that people are placed in the appropriate department by asking about their knowledge, skills, and competencies. In assessing the suitability of candidates for positions, we use the following assessment tools in line with the requirements of the position:

  • Competency-Based Interview
  • Personality and Mental Skills Inventory
  • Foreign Language Proficiency Exam
  • Assessment Center Applications

According to the results of all these evaluations, we start the recruitment process for our eligible candidates.

Young Engineers

We developed the Young Engineers program in 2021 to train future engineers of Çimsa. We design the program completely online, taking into account the needs of today’s world. Pre-assessment involves conducting video, phone, and face-to-face interviews with candidates and inviting them to the assessment centre, the final stage.

Our Young Engineers Program aims to manager candidates who want to make a long-term career plan in the cement industry and have Çimsa values to the company as talents as part of our Future of Work efforts.

University Collaborations

At Çimsa, we attach great importance to collaborations with universities in line with our goal of providing the industry with a highly qualified workforce. Moreover, we have been improving the university-industry relations, and we continue to cooperate with many universities in Türkiye in the fields of academic consultancy and training services as part of the projects carried out in our company.

We admit a certain number of high school and university students for internship every year to contribute to the training of the qualified workforce needed by our company and to help students meet their compulsory work-experience requirements.
