We are looking for a Process Development Manager to manage company-wide operational excellence and improvement initiatives that enhance process performance, operational and energy efficiency, and product quality across Çimsa’s global cement operations. In this role, you will drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and the adoption of technical best practices while translating business priorities into sustainable process development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities & Challanges

• Develop and implement process development strategies across Çimsa’s operations.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor improvement initiatives focused on process performance, operational and energy efficiency, product quality, and cost optimization.
• Lead root cause analyses for process-related issues and ensure the implementation and sustainability of corrective and preventive solutions.
• Analyze operational performance indicators, identify strategic improvement opportunities, and translate business priorities into value-creating initiatives across all plants.
• Lead process improvement projects aimed at increasing the use of alternative fuels and raw materials in line with Çimsa’s sustainability objectives.
• Heat & Mass Balance calculations.
• Develop, standardize, and promote process development methodologies, technical standards, and best practices across the organization.
• Coordinate process audits and ensure that identified improvement opportunities are converted into measurable and sustainable actions.
• Promote the adoption of digital technologies, advanced data analytics, and innovative solutions to optimize process performance and operational excellence.
• Provide technical leadership and support for capital investment projects, including process design reviews, commissioning, start-up, performance testing, and optimization.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Process Development Team while fostering effective collaboration across functions and plants.
• Ensure that all process development activities comply with Operational Excellence, Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.

Profile

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in preferably Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience : 10 years+ of experience in process development, process engineering, or operations within the cement, building materials, or heavy industry sectors.

Technical Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of cement production processes, including kiln operations, process optimization, energy efficiency, and operational excellence.
• Proficiency with operational and administrative technologies, performance tracking software, and process control and optimization technologies.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and the implementation of sustainable process solutions.
• Strong analytical capability with a proven ability to translate technical recommendations into practical, onsite execution.

• Fluency in written and spoken English. Spanish will be an asset.
• Ability to reside in, or relocate to, Mersin or Eskişehir.
• Regular travel is frequently required for optimization visits across regions.
