We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to be based in Northern Ireland at Mannok.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, vendor management, and day to day purchasing operations across multiple divisions while leading a centralised team of buyers. This role is responsible for standardising purchasing workflows, leveraging group wide buying power, and mitigating supply risks to support multi-site manufacturing facilities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of buyers, setting performance KPIs, conducting reviews, and fostering professional development.
  • Combine material demand across separate business units to maximise volume discounts and negotiate group master service agreements.
  • Establish vendor SLAs that accommodate the unique production timelines, quality standards, and delivery requirements of individual divisions.
  • Work with cross – functional teams, divisional managers and engineering teams to qualify new suppliers and execute cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Audit supplier performance using centralised dashboards, addressing delivery failures or quality deviations before they impact plant production.
  • Maintaining Vendor and item Integritycontinuously update and maintain vendor information to ensure accuracy.  Ensure min / max stock levels are consistently reviewed and updated to reflect fluctuations in production across sites.
  • ERP maintenance and integrityassisting in the transition of operational purchasing to business central.  Ensure the effective use business central by the team members.
  • Deep familiarity with supply chain terminology, such as Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems]
  • Knowledge of international trade, customs regulations, and logistics is essential, particularly for dealing with post-Brexit trade to and from the UK

Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in buying, procurement, or supply chain roles.
  • Previous Supervisory experience essential

Core Skills Required:

  • Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with an ability to analyse cost scenarios and manage departmental budgets.
  • Advanced level of English knowledge.
