We are looking for “Logistics Procurement Specialist”to join our Supply Chain Team at Çimsa.
You will be responsible to add new logistics sourcing capabilities to our organization and increase the competitive power in the market by creating cost advantages.
As a Logistics Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Handle daily logistics procurement activities as understanding the total cost of ownership,
- Execution of RFx processes, carrying out negotiations with the suppliers, analyze, comparison, and evaluation of the offers,
- Ensure all relevant SAP and system transactions,
- Prepare and provide life cycle management of logistics services contracts,
- Be the gatekeeper for all category relevant sourcing activities,
- Be aware of the market; monitoring and reporting market information as keeping communication to make necessary changes on time,
- Understand the business needs, and requests; working in coordination with business units and logistics operation team,
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the suppliers and improving the level of their service quality,
- Identify alternative suppliers; unlocking new opportunities and execution of new vendor onboardings,
- Analyze and capture saving opportunities to generate value,
- Ensure category’s buying strategies with the alignment of business units and supply chain team,
- Provide contribution to supply chain excellence projects,
- Support to internal stakeholders for daily administrative tasks.
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:
- A degree in Logistics, Engineering, Economics or Business Administration,
- 1-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in logistics procurement,
- Business acumen, analytical mindset, collaborative as hands on execution,
- Strong at negotiation, communication, and priority management,
- Resilience to handle with urgent business needs,
- Excellent command of written and spoken English,
- Proficient in the use of MS Office,
- SAP knowledge is a plus.
