We are looking for a “Logistics Operations Manager” to identify and implement best in class logistics practices to drive productivity within our Supply Chain Department at Çimsa.
As Logistics Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the transportation processes from factories and warehouses to the customers or port,
- Managing the transportation companies,
- Managing the monthly progress payments of transportation companies,
- Warehouse management,
- Managing the stock counting processes,
- Ensuring effectivity of internal and external warehouses operations,
- Supervising the team regarding to container operation works (Factory inside & outside),
- Providing Port Operations Management (Discharge & Loading),
- Managing Port Authority Relations,
- Developing and projecting improvement suggestions in port, TCDD and container operations and ensuring their implementation,
- Key leader in the annual budget process as it relates to port operations and responsible in monitoring port budget,
- Providing railway operations management,
- Scale operations management,
- Making lay-time calculations,
- Managing Subcontractor agreements.
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:
- A degree in Logistics, Maritime Engineering, Economics or Business Administration,
- A minimum of ten years of experience in management of both maritime and logistics operations,
- Strong communication skills, organizational skills with ability to prioritize effectively and scheduling,
- Analytical thinking, result oriented and customer focused approach,
- Excellent command of written and spoken English,
- Proficient in the use of MS Office, SAP and preferably N-Gate.
